Sculpting with Paper

( 34:28 )

Art educator Peggy Flores demonstrates the sculpting processes of scoring, cutting, folding, and curling paper. She then shows how students can create three-dimensional objects from a flat piece of paper. These include an underwater scene, leaves and flowers, an abstract sculpture, paper beads, a sculpture from paper cylinders, and a relief sculpture with cut openings. This program inspires students to create innovative sculptures with basic materials. The program Paper Mosaics is also available and complements this program.
